WELCOME TO THE WEBSITE FOR THE CHURCHES OF

RYHALL, ESSENDINE
AND
CARLBY.

Welcome to the website for the Benefice of Ryhall, Essendine and Carlby.  The benefice consists of three churches: St John's Church, Ryhall,
St Mary's Church, Essendine, and St Stephen's Church, Carlby.  These churches serve three villages at the easternmost point of Rutland, (Ryhall, Belmesthorpe and Essendine) and one village which is just across the county boundary into Lincolnshire, (Carlby).  We belong to the Diocese of Peterborough, and are part of the Rutland Deanery.  On the following pages you will find times of services for each parish, information regarding weddings and baptisms, as well as many other aspects of our churches which we hope you will find interesting.

Please click here to find times of services at Ryhall, or Essendine or Carlby.

We hope you enjoy what you see, and look forward to welcoming you in person if you are able to visit any of these churches.  If you have any questions, please use the contact form to get in touch.
