the church of St stephen, carlby
Although Carlby is in Lincolnshire, it has, since 1997, been part of the same group of parishes as Ryhall and Essendine, and is therefore within the Diocese of Peterborough.
St Stephen's church dates from the early 13th century and has
an example of a 15th century Doom Painting above the chancel arch.
The Church is open to visitors during weekends and Bank Holidays.
